Lübeck Operetta Academy 2011
The Lübeck Summer Operetta Festival was founded in 1995 by
Director Michael P. Schulz and has chosen the promotion and
advancement of young artists for its prime mission. The annual
productions never fail to enchant a continuously growing audience
of music lovers.br>
2011 marks the Debut of the Operetta Academy. For ten days,
talented singers selected from throughout the world will have
the opportunity to prepare scenes from the Viennese
Operetta Repertoire under prime conditions and to the highest
standard. A professional team of instructors will support students
in attaining optimal results in musical and artistic realization.
The Curriculum includes courses in dramatization, presentation and
style, musical coaching, scenic interpretation and dance, German
diction and audition training, courses in “Feldenkrais Technique”
as well as individual repertoire study
The studied scenes will be performed in various public concerts with
orchestra.
Those interested in auditioning, should apply by April 1, 2011 with
a resume, complete repertoire list as well as a demo CD or DVD.
